Both Ari and Jan got their high school diplomas this year, so Cob is our only kid still in school. I may actually get to regrow some hair I lost.

Cob does online “virtual” school, where he interacts with his teachers and classmates through the internet. Every day, I get an email with a status report of his assignments and grades. Being the smarty-pants he’s always been, he’s kicking ass and getting solid As, even in this, his first year of high school.

But today’s mark for his latest Math assignment caused me pause. Here, take a look for yourself at this screenshot of it:

They must be teaching a whole new New Math these days.
